Franky Lee was formed 2006 by Mathias (Millencolin), Magnus (The Peepshows), Fredrik (Randy) and Jocke (Passage 4/Within Reach). In 2012 Jocke replaced Fredrik as drummer and this is the force of today.
With it's explosive, full throttle rock sound, one would never guess that Franky Lee is the product of a serious party scheme. Yet the brutal energy and epic hooks yielded by this unified and muscular act is, in fact, just that. Bringing to mind the Foo Fighters, Samiam, Jimmy Eat World, and stemming from the bands devotion to the Afghan Whigs, the roar of Franky Lee is as majestic as it is melodic.

The 12" gold vinyl comes in a beautiful gatefold sleeve showcasing the original artwork from Paul Phillips (Spilt Milk) with special edition 'UV spot ribbons', and full art from the 2012 EP From Trust To Conformity, by Joanne Smith, featured in the centrefold.
Alongside the Sea of Trees EP tracks include A-side bonus 'Never Coming Home' re-recorded in the Sea of Trees sessions and a 2024 remaster of From Trust to Conformity EP on the B-side cut onto a classy Gold vinyl plus a 16-page booklet featuring lyrics, commentary from singer Dan Smith and original art sketches of Jo smith.
